FISHING THE WILD WEST TV

Lake trout are considered by many anglers to be one of the strongest fighting freshwater fish species throughout North America. The lake trout that swim within the depths of Daly Lake will test an angler’s stamina, gear, and fishing ability, during any and every hookup.

This past summer during my four-day adventure at Daly Lake, one of many Adventure Destinations self-guided outpost camps, I did battle with more 20-pound lake trout than I could count. At the end of each day, I had sore arms and I was exhausted. However, the one thing that kept me going was I knew the next bite I could be doing battle with a 30 or 40-pound lake trout.

Daly Lake has quality cabins with all the comforts of home nestled in the beautiful Northern Saskatchewan Boreal Forest. An angler can do battle with monster lake trout and northern pike while surrounded by breathtaking scenery.
