world class hunting experience.
Travel
Your adventure begins from the moment you land in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan, Canada. Your tags and licenses will be ready upon arrival. We will meet you at the airport (or pick you up at your hotel) and your journey begins with the 450-kilometer (280 mile) drive to Thompson’s Resort in the Hamlet of Missinipe on the shores of Otter Lake. Enjoy the drive and watch the beautiful landscape of Saskatchewan shift from wide-open Prairie through the Boreal Plain and into the Boreal Shield. Don’t like sound of a 4.5 hour drive? We can arrange a private charter flight from Saskatoon, call to inquire. *overnights in Saskatoon are the responsibility of the hunter Hunting Strategy
Almost all bear hunts in Saskatchewan are done over baits. Baiting begins as soon as law permits (weather conditions may affect this date). We have a 2:1 ratio. Two hunters / one guide. We use ladder tree stands and trail cameras at all our bait stations. |
