Greg,
We had a really great time this year. The weather was obviously as good as it can get, the fishing even better than last year and the food was TERRIFIC. As always you and your staff were great.

I would like to take an opportunity to thank you and your staff for all the hospitality and kindness you showed us on our trip. I know I had a terrific time and I can assure you the other guys had a fabulous trip as well. I have to congratulate you on the wonderful staff you have at the lodge. I was particularly impressed by the class shown when we deboarded the plane on our arrival; we were greeted at the dock by all the staff with each one introducing themselves and welcoming us there. Throughout the time at the lodge, every staff member always had a smile and greeted you by name. I felt this was very respectful and gave the lodge a more homey, relaxed, atmosphere. Food was remarkable and unfortunately, my waistline shows it!!!! Breakfasts and suppers were unbelievable, again top notch.

We wanted to send you this note of thanks for ensuring such a great trip for us at Selwyn Lake Lodge Outpost this past summer. This was our first experience with Adventure Destinations, but it will certainly be only the first of many.
Our host was really on top of every detail for us. He helped us with our travel to Saskatoon and then up to the lodge, with the equipment, the food, everything. We even got an unexpected tutorial from a top guide showing us good places to fish and areas of hazard to avoid. Exceptional treatment for an outpost.
The equipment was first rate, clearly the best we have ever used in an outpost situation. Everything worked very well and made our stay all the more pleasant. The food was great, more than we could ever need, and of a very high quality. We have been on quite a few expeditions to lodges and outposts but never have we felt so "spoiled" and well looked after. Every aspect of the trip was a pleasure.
Then we come to the fishing. We have heard the promises again and again, "lots of fish and trophies to boot," but nowhere have we had our fishing wishes so fulfilled as at Selwyn Lake. We caught the big pike when we tried for them, but it was tough to give them their due when the monster lake trout were calling for our attention. We caught four trout over 40 pounds and I'm sending some photos to prove it. The biggest was a 46 pound plus monster. When we needed a fish for supper, or just wanted a little faster action, all we needed to do was jig near several deep water points. The action was often explosive. Selwyn Lake is a real jewel, as beautiful as any water imaginable, and hosting a generous population of truly extraordinary trophy fish.
You run a truly first class operation. Every person we talked to and worked with was honest and helpful. Every aspect of our dream fishing adventure was as good as it could possibly be. We couldn't ask for anything more, except perhaps the opportunity to come back next year.
Thanks for a wonderful time on the water!

Ron,
I was just lazing around today with the usual let down after a great Christmas with my family. Looking through a collection of "stuff" still collecting dust on my computer desk, I ran across one of your brochures from several years ago. Opened it up and "bingo" my old body came to life. Some of my fondest memories are of the three or four times Jerry and I were privileged to spend a few days at your camp and the Churchill River complex. Not just that the fishing was delightful, but the remote, comfortable accommodations was a refreshing departure from our urban existence here in Oklahoma City. My son, son-in-law, and grandson all still cherish the one time they came up there with me.
Hope you, Karen and your son had a great Christmas and that the New Year offers many blessings for you and your beautiful camp.

Hi Ron,
Just a short note to say that Brett and I had a great time fishing at Twin Falls. The fishing was excellent plus you and your staff did an awesome job looking after everyone. Twin Falls is definitely one of my favorite fishing lodges! Thanks for making the generous donation to the Children's Hospital Fundraiser as it gave us the opportunity to enjoy Twin Falls again as well as being able to contribute to a very worthy cause. Thanks again and see you next year!

Karen & Ron,
Ric and I had such a great time at Twin Falls. You and Ron are the best! You both made our trip very enjoyable. I have been to many sporting camps and lodges and Twin Falls ranks at the top for quality and comfort. The fishing was unbelievable and the guide's attention to getting us onto fish was the best. The meals you served were over the top and we really enjoyed the steaks cooked on the grill. It is apparent that you and Ron have been hosting guest for many years. Your experience shows in every detail. Thank you for making our trip a memorable one.

Good Afternoon Ron,
I wanted to thank you once again for an incredible fishing trip. We all had a great time. The ladies are still talking about Paul and Harry as their guides. You may wish to pass this along to them both. They really enjoyed their humour and chats. Sam was very good as well. As you mentioned he is quite quiet but we enjoyed his company. Jane's meals were tremendous and we cannot thank you all enough. Our time at your lodge was something I have been looking for for a number of years and none of us were disappointed.
We are now planning our second trip to your point but are working on getting Rachel's Mom and Dad to come along as well. Not sure if it will be next year or the year after (I am hoping for next year to be very honest).
Again many thanks and please pass along our gratitude to our guides, Jane and of course pat yourself on the back you did a great job.
Keep in touch and we would really like to retain Cabin #2 for ourselves again when we return.

I wanted to comment on this years fishing at Upper Foster Lake. I have fished Daly and Foster Lakes for about 20 years now. This was by far the best year of all. Normally we fish the 1st week of the season but due to late ice problems in recent years, our party switched to the 2nd week. Then this year the ice went out several weeks earlier than normal. I expected lots of bugs and mosquitoes and hard fishing. We are used to fishing the shallow bays during the pike spawn and this year the spawn was over by several weeks. However, the fish were still in the same shallow areas and biting.
This year my best day was 91 fish and for the week our group of 3 caught over 50 ten pound plus fish with the largest being 20 1/4lbs. Other than half a day of wind and rain, we had a great weather with temperatures in the mid 60s and NO BUGS!

I would like to express my sincere thanks once again for an amazing stay at Thompson Camps! This entire trip was something that I have dreamed of since I was a child! Kurt has been to Otter Lake before, but said this time was by far the best time he has had there. We had such a fantastic time and we can't wait for our next trip up there.
Our cabin was so comfy...it was a great way to spend the evenings after two great days of fishing! Extreme thanks and gratitude to our guide, Walter, who made it so much more than just a fishing trip. Our shore lunches were delicious and he gave us so many wonderful memories that we will cherish dearly. It was sad to leave, but we now have something to look forward to once again.
Keep up the great work everyone!
Cheers and we'll see you again in the future!!

Ron,
Our group of 8, with many years of experience fishing in Canada and the U.S., enjoyed the most outstanding walleye and pike fishing of our lives. Ron Striker and his staff helped in many ways beyond what would customarily be expected. They were great!
