Phillips Falls is also located only 3 miles from the resort. These waterfalls are natural spawning and feeding grounds for Walleye, Northern Pike, Whitefish and Yellow Perch. An average Northern Pike catch at Twin Falls Lodge is between 5 to 7 lbs. The resort record for Northern Pike is 35 lbs (49.5 inches) caught in 2006. Many islands surround Twin Falls Lodge so wind and harsh conditions are not a factor for guests when fishing and lengthy boat rides are not required to find terrific fishing locations. There are also six portage lakes available to guests at no extra charge. Portage lakes offer excellent fishing opportunities as these lakes see less then 20 fishermen per year, so there are plenty of fish available in these seclude areas.  At Twin Falls Lodge were partner with local Native Cree guides who add a high level of knowledge and service to the fishing experience.
