Along with our fishing lodges, we own and operate six outpost camps and 29 secluded fly-in fishing lakes. We make it our mission to meet the adventure needs of a global clientele base by providing a wide variety of experiences and adventure options through a roster of destinations.

President - James Yuel

James (Jim) Yuel was born in Dodsland, Saskatchewan. A quintessential small town prairie boy, Jim quickly learned the value of hard work, and always felt that he would eventually run his own business where the decisions and the responsibility for them rested solely on his shoulders. In 1976 Jim identified his opportunity to go into business for himself and acquired the exclusive rights to market the excess production from the Saskatoon plant; and Prairie Industrial Chemicals Ltd. was born.

Jims' prairie work ethic and his "always open for business" motto led to the hard-won success of his first business, and the unprecedented growth that followed.  As Prairie Industrial Chemicals grew through vertical integration, the decision was made to undergo an organizational restructuring, creating PIC Investment Group Inc. as a diversified holding company.

In 1994 Jim identified another opportunity that fulfilled a life long dream when he made an investment in Selwyn Lake Lodge.  While providing business support to Gord Wallace and Mary Daigneault the typical "Jim Yuel" theme of business growth and efficiency presented itself as a topic.  In 2003 additional outfitting operations we acquired and consolidated in order to provide fishing customers with a full range of fishing choices for any angler and create a decent critical mass of business.

Mr. Yuel holds a number of positions on various boards and continues to sit as a Director on boards for both large established corporations, including RBC Wealth Management and for small privately held businesses such as Doepker Industries Inc. as well as a number of charities. James Yuel was a founding father of the redevelopment of the Saskatoon Regional Economic Development Board. He has won countless awards, nominations and recognitions of achievement, including the prestigious Ernst & Young Entrepreneur of the Year (1995), and the Saskatoon B'nai Brith "Proud of You" award, ABEX and SABEX Lifetime Achievement Awards.

Selwyn Lake Lodge Manager - Greg Sproat

"I am a product of being born and raised in Saskatchewan, so naturally I am drawn to the beauty of the great outdoors and its entire splendor. I can honestly say I enjoy the Canadian winters because of the sports and activities that present themselves during this season - although, the -30°C weather can be trying at times.  I joined the Adventure Destinations team back in 2008 as the manager of Selwyn Lake Lodge. I am very fortunate to have such a spectacular job located in pristine northern Canada that is so fantastic, and undervalued by most of the world until it is truly experienced first hand. There really isn't any place like it, and the fishing is unquestionably some of the best in the world!

I have been brought up through the hospitality industry and know what it takes to ensure a five star fishing adventure. Along with my past experience in management and a degree in Marketing, I guarantee that it will be a trip of a life time! I am looking forward to many years up at Selwyn Lake Lodge and I am excited to develop a strong relationship with all my guests. I hope to see you this summer!"

Twin Falls Lodge Managers - Ron & Karen Cojocar

"Karen and myself first purchased our camp in 1981 to fulfill a dream we had of owing a fly-in fishing camp. And here it is over 25 years later, and it sure has been a long lasting dream. Over these 25 years Karen and myself have had the opportunity of sharing thousands of our customer's dreams of visiting a fly-in fishing camp. We have built up a strong relationship with our customers and value the many memories. We have a family out of Texas that has fished with us 17 years, watching their kids grow up has been a great pleasure for us. In 2003 we joined the Adventure Destinations International team, and we are excited to be working together to provide our customers a variety of fishing options in Northern Saskatchewan. We know there are plenty of other fine fishing camps out there as well as other vacation destinations. With our experience Karen and myself feel we can offer you good value for your dollar, as well as help you fulfill your dream of a fly-in fishing trip to Northern Saskatchewan, and have the  opportunity to become one of our many growing friends. A big THANK YOU to all our customers/friends"

Thompson's Camps Otter Lake Resort Manager - Ron Striker

"In August of 2004 I joined the Adventure Destinations International management team and began to represent Thompson's Camps Otter Lake Resort as the Lodge Manager. Since my time with Adventure Destinations I have seen Thompson's Camps Otter Lake Resort grow into a destination for family gatherings as well as a place for businesses and corporate groups to come and experience the beauty that Northern Saskatchewan has to offer.
Thompson's Camps has made numerous improvements investing in new accommodations and facilities in the past seven years and I will continue work keeping our facility a place to share with the many friends I have made over the years and look forward to making many new relationships in years to come.
My family and I moved to the Saskatoon area where we now winter, but we always look forward to the ice coming off the lakes and getting our boats and planes back in the water and moving back up the lake for the summer months. I look forward to seeing you there."
